Explosion-Proof Centrifuge Extractors

Explosion-Proof Centrifuge Extractors deliver efficient, reliable quantitative determinations of bitumen content in hot-mix asphalt. All models feature rugged welded steel frames, simple, safe operation, and a long service life.

The precision-machined, balanced inner aluminum bowl assembly lifts easily from the sealed housing for quick specimen handling. Rotation speeds up to 3,600rpm are set using the speed control knob, and an on/off switch with a manual hand brake slows the rotation to a stop. The heavy-duty cast aluminum outer cover latches securely and includes an integral solvent dispensing cup. 1,500 and 3,000g models meet ASTM D2172 and AASHTO T 164 requirements. 

Centrifuge Extractors feature explosion-proof-rated motors and safe transformers, enclosed in a rugged, welded tubular steel frame. Models are available with 1,500g or 3,000g capacity and operate on a 115V or 230V, 50Hz/60Hz motor.
