Soil Resistance Meters are required for soil resistivity testing with the HM-940 Soil Resistivity Kit to determine the average resistivity of the soil to a depth equal to the spacing between electrodes. The soil resistivity meters are available with analog or digital features and both include a NIST Traceable Certificate of Calibration.
HM-942 Analog Soil Resistance Meter provides soil resistance values to be read directly from the analog dial without performing additional calculations. The wide-range, high-sensitivity soil resistivity meter has a large dial for easy readability and 8 ranges from 0.1 Ohms to 1.1 Mega-Ohms. It operates on C-cell alkaline batteries. Weatherproof even when lid is removed.
HM-944 Digital Soil Resistivity Meter selects range and adjusts dials automatically. It features an instant resistance reading at the push of a button, and has a total range from 0.01 Ohms to 10 Mega-Ohms. This model also features data logging capabilities directly to a Bluetooth-enabled PC or Android mobile device (not included) using the included ProCP Soil Resistivity Software. Logged readings can be automatically dated and time stamped with positioning when integrated with GPS feature from user’s handheld device. Powered by D-cell replaceable alkaline batteries.
The meters are encased in a lightweight, rugged weatherproof IP67-rated plastic.
