Soil Resistivity Meters are used with the HM-940 Soil Resistivity Kit. Either the analog or digital model is required for soil resistivity testing. A NIST Traceable Certificate of Calibration is included with both meters.
HM-942 Analog Soil Resistivity Meter provides easy-to-read soil resistance values directly from the large analog dial. Readings are obtained with no additional operator calculations required. The unit offers high-sensitivity with 8 ranges from 0.1 Ohms to 1.1 Mega-Ohms. It operates on standard C alkaline batteries, and comes with a rugged and weatherproof IP67-rated plastic case.
HM-944 Digital Soil Resistivity Meter selects range and adjusts dials automatically. It features an instant resistance reading at the push of a button, and has a total range from 0.01 Ohms to 10 Mega-Ohms. This model also features data logging capabilities directly to a Bluetooth-enabled Android mobile device or PC (not included) via the included ProCP Soil Resistivity Software. Logged readings can be automatically dated and time stamped with positioning when integrated with GPS feature from user’s hand-held mobile device. Powered by conventional D-cell replaceable alkaline batteries. This model also comes with an IP67-rated waterproof case.
