4.25in Asphalt Core Drill Bit (Open-Head) is used with electric or gasoline-powered Core Drills to obtain drilled asphalt cores for evaluation and laboratory testing. The bit requires a properly sized Expander Set for Open-Head Asphalt Coring Bits for attachment to the drilling machine. It performs well in high-output, heavy-use applications, and can be refurbished when worn.
Diamond Coring Bits are designed for wet-use with asphalt and are fast-cutting when used as designed. The final core diameter is approximately 0.25in (6.4mm) smaller than the nominal outside diameter.
