Concrete Testing Accessories

Fresh concrete testing accessories meet applicable testing standards and assist in sample preparation, testing procedures, and clean up.

  • Tamping Rods are made of stainless steel and used to consolidate fresh concrete for slump, air content, and molding of strength specimens. They are available in diameters of 3/8 or 5/8in and lengths of 24, 18 or 12in.
  • Thermometers for field testing of fresh concrete include pocket dial thermometers and meet ASTM C1064 test standard.
  • Concrete Strike-Off Bar is used to remove excess material from molds, air meter vessels, slump cones, or unit weight measures.
  • Strike-off Plates are made of corrosion-proof aluminum and are used for striking off various aggregate and concrete testing samples.
  • Trowels are available in curved side or straight-edge styles and used in numerous lab and field testing applications. They meet a number of ASTM and AASHTO standards.
  • Concrete Hand Floats provide a level, smooth finish on samples to ensure even loading during compressive strength testing.
  • Rubber Mallet has a 2.25in (57mm) hard rubber face for consolidating concrete in unit weight measures or removing specimen molds.
  • Scrub Brushes are useful for easy clean up of all concrete testing equipment.
  • Measuring Tapes are the most accurate and efficient way to measure slump, and serve a number of other purposes.
  • 38oz or 58oz Aluminum Scoops are easy to handle for remixing the bulk sample and dispensing a representative sample of fresh concrete into slump cones.
