The SmartPave 93 DSR Plate Kits come in 4, 8 or 25mm diameters with an upper measuring plate and a screw-on lower plate for use with the
Anton Paar SmartPave 93 Dynamic Shear Rheometer. Plate diameter and gap are selected based on binder stiffness at test temperature. The QuickConnect™ mechanism lets you swap the upper plate tool-free.
HMA-352 is 25mm in diameter with a 1mm gap for unaged and RTFO-aged binders at 115°F (46°C) and above.
HMA-353 is 8mm in diameter with a 2mm gap for PAV-aged binder at 39–104°F (4–40°C).
HMA-354 is 4mm in diameter with a 1.75mm gap for rheological testing down to 40°F (40°C).
