Portable Hammermill Crushers accept material with a maximum feed size of 2in (51mm) and can produce final output as fine as No. 80 (0.2mm), controlled by interchangeable screen inserts.
These units deliver approximately 1 to 2 tons (907–1,814kg) of throughput per hour. Each crusher includes ten 1.5in (38mm) wide, 8lb (3.6kg) hammers made from wear‑resistant high‑chrome steel. Optimal production and extended hammer life are achieved when feeding material sized 1in (25mm).
A newly designed, patent‑pending non‑slip disc system enables complete hammer change‑out in under 10 minutes. The drive shaft measures 2in (51mm) in diameter. Internal wear plates are 0.374in (9.5mm) thick and constructed from 400 Brinell hardness steel.
A standard LCA‑418 No. 20 (1.0mm) screen is included. Optional screen inserts with openings from 0.039 to 0.318in (1 to 3.18mm) are available separately. All screens are laser‑cut from 1/4in (6mm) durable steel for long service life.
