Portable Hammermill Crushers has a maximum feed size of 2in (51mm) and final output sizes as fine as No. 80 (0.2mm) are controlled by screen inserts. A choice of one standard screen is included with hammermill. Included screen options include LCA-422 No.35 (0.5mm) standard screen or LCA-418 No.20 (1.0mm) standard screen. Other optional Screens with openings from 0.125in (3.18mm) to 0.3in (0.75mm) are sold separately. Inquire about Custom Screens available with any opening size. Screens are laser-cut from 0.25in (6mm) durable steel material.
These units offer approximately 1 to 2 tons (900 to 1,800kg) throughput per hour. The ten included 1.5in (38mm) wide 8lb (3.6kg) hammers are made from wear-resistant high-chrome steel for long service life. Production is higher and hammer life is enhanced by feeding 1in (25mm) material. The newly-designed, patent-pending non-slip disc system allows complete change-out of the hammers in less than ten minutes. Power is supplied by 30hp Gasoline or 24hp Diesel engines, or a 15hp Electric Motor that can be configured for three-phase electrical supplies from 208 to 460 volts. The drive shaft is 2in (51mm) diameter. Internal wear plates are 0.374in (9.5mm) and made of 400 Brinnell Hardness material.
