Grieve Laboratory Ovens are forced-air convection and have large chamber capacities ranging from 15.8-78ft³. Ovens have a solid enameled steel construction with a type 304 stainless steel interior with insulation.
Large cabinet ovens have a maximum temperature of 400°F (204°C) or 550°F (288°C). Budget Hi-capacity ovens maximum temperature is 400°F (204°C) with ±0.5% control accuracy and ±4°C (±8°F) uniformity for efficient drying of large sample loads.
Ovens have a UL-listed control panel that houses the adjustable temperature controller, blower control pushbutton, on/off heat switch, and pilot light. Ovens features include an adjustable air intake, exhaust dampers, built-in baffle to prevent radiant heat.
Additional features include silicone rubber door gaskets and double-door access with explosion-venting latches.
Large Cabinet Ovens have optional gas-fired or all-electric heat type. Features a digital LED indicating temperature controller with ±0.3% accuracy and adjustable over-temperature safety control. These ovens accommodate up to ten shelves with 100lb (46kg) capacity on 6in centers. They also have horizontal airflow and interior ductwork louvers to balance airflow.
Budget Hi-Capacity Ovens models are all-electric heat type and can be used on a benchtop or with a Stand Kit (purchased separately). They feature a thermocouple-actuated temperature controller and heaters automatically shut off if the blower fails. Constructed with Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements and has a 1/3hp blower which can be run without the heater for cooling. These ovens can accommodate up to ten shelves with 50lb (23kg) capacity on 3in centers.
