GPR Concrete Scanning Equipment

Proceq’s Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) devices are wireless and ideal for detecting the position and orientation of objects embedded in concrete structures, bridges, pavements, slabs, and overlays. Ground Penetrating Radar for concrete utilizes Stepped Frequency Continuous Wave (SFCW) technology to scan low to high frequencies to render subsurface imagery. GPR concrete scanner technology results in accurate and detailed data that allow the user to locate rebar and complete structural investigations, as-built verifications, thickness detections, and other assessments.

Proceq GP8000 Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
Models: CT-158, CT-157

The GP8000 and GP8800 Series devices are handheld. Proceq’s GPR software is compatible with Apple® iPadOS operating system.

  • GPR Live GP8000 Series devices are housed in a four-wheel scan car with 8mm of ground clearance, a user-friendly interface, and laser guidance for accurate GPR data aquisition. Available in Pro or Lite option. The GPR Pro uses the Pro software license and offers a wide range of capabilities for a comprehensive suite of applications. The GPR Lite uses the Lite software license to provide essential functionality for routine use, creating a streamlined system ideal for fast thickness measurement and detection of rebar and live wire. The Lite software can be upgraded to the Pro software license for an additional fee.
  • GPR Live GP8800 Series device is fully contained within the compact housing and can easily scan in tight spaces, on curved surfaces, overhead, and close to the walls of concrete bridges, structures, and pavements. The exclusive wireless tracking wheel adjusts between trailing and sidecar configurations for flexibility in cramped environments and to permit cross-polarized scanning. For scanning in narrow areas with as little as 2.5in of clearance, the battery pack can be removed and tethered to the scan module with a USB-C cable. The Pro software license offers a wide range of capabilities for a comprehensive suite of applications.
