Quincy Lab Ovens have a 1.8ft³ (51L) capacity with forced-air convection, hydraulic thermostat, 450°F (232°C) maximum temperature, and ±3°C uniformity for drying and controlled heating applications. Single-door with a high-impact thermoplastic handle, these ovens have one fixed and two adjustable shelves; additional shelves are sold as optional accessories.
The control panel includes an illuminated on/off rocker switch and heat/cycle pilot light. Cabinets are heavy steel double-wall construction; the painted exterior has a durable, scratch-resistant hammer-tone finish. The interior is corrosion-resistant aluminized steel, with one-inch high-density mineral wool insulation between interior and exterior walls. Inquire for optional factory-installed BOA-5 12-Hour Timer to shut off operation at a preset time up to 12 hours. A Hold feature allows for continuous operation.
Forced-air convection models include a special fan and air transfer plenum that allows the oven to maintain a more uniform temperature, and a door-mounted dual-range °F/°C dial thermometer. Unique engineering features include energy-efficient, low-watt density Incoloy-sheathed elements that allow for quick run-up and recovery times.
