Porous Stones

Porous Stones provide solid support at both ends of soil specimens while allowing free passage of water. They are made of quality aluminum oxide and come in round or square shapes. Round stones are used in triaxial, permeability, consolidation, and direct or residual shear strength soil testing. Square stones are used in testing direct or residual shear strength.
