DSR Silicone Specimen Molds are used with Anton Paar Shear Rheometers for asphalt binder testing. Flexible, tear-resistant silicone molds are manufactured by the Asphalt Institute. Dimensions may vary from the specified sample sizes in order to ensure proper placement and trimming between the plates of the DSR. Molds are triangular and each side is approximately 2in (51mm) with 0.25in (6.35mm) thickness.

HMA-356 includes one HMA-356B 8mm mold and one HMA-356A 25mm mold.

HMA-356A single mold forming 18mm dia samples for the 25mm test plates and is part of the HMA-356 mold set.

HMA-356B single mold forming 8mm samples or is part of the HMA-356 mold set.

HMA-356C single mold forming 4mm samples.
