Bituminous Materials Needle

Bituminous Materials Needle has 40-45mm of exposed needle length. Used for asphalt testing with the Asphalt Penetrometers.

The needle is made of smooth, hardened, tempered stainless steel with a brass ferrule. Weight of 2.5g to give 50g total when mounted to the Universal Asphalt Penetrometer’s 47.5g plunger assembly.

HMA-180C comes with ASTM accuracy certification.
