Tamping Rod only for Soil Cement Apparatus

HMA-125 Tamping Rod only for Soil Cement Apparatus is used in the preparation of soil-cement specimens for compressive strength testing in accordance with requirements of ASTM D1632 Method B. A pre-weighed soil-cement sample is first consolidated into the mold assembly using the Tamping Rod, before final consolidation with the HM-228 Dropping Weight Compactor to achieve the required length dimension. The straight steel rod is 0.5x20in (12.7x508mm) Dia.xL.
