Asphalt Tack Coat Shear Fixture determines the shear strength of tack coat material between two asphalt layers. The Shear Fixture uses two 0.75in (19mm) aluminum shear plates to hold and position the two halves of the specimen. One shear plate is fixed and the other is free to move vertically with up to 1in (25.4mm) of travel. The MS-42 Tack Coat Shear Fixture is compatible with Gilson load frames and most competing models with daylight openings of at least 10in (254mm). Est. Ship Wt.: 22lb (10kg).
