Gilson offers three types of extraction solvents. Each meets the specification of most state DOTs. These solvents make excellent replacements for trichloroethylene and other chemical solvents.

Excel Clean HD (Flash Point -125°F) and Hisol Plus (Flash Point >145°F) contains 100% natural orange and citrus terpenes, is biodegradable, nontoxic, ozone-friendly, free-rinsing, no clumping, and can be used with a vacuum extractor and/or centrifuge for gradations only.

Power-Solv (Flash Point -115°F) is non-rinsable, contains citrus terpenes and petroleum solvent, and can be used with a vacuum extractor and/or centrifuge for gradations only.

These solvents are not for reflux or other heated solvent methods. When ordering, specify the flash point version by name. Excel Clean HD will be supplied if not specified.
