Gilson electric or gasoline powered diamond core drilling machines feature easy set up and use. Coring capacities up to 8" (203mm) diameter are standard. Inquire for machines with up to 16" (406mm) capacity or for pneumatically or hydraulically powered units. Diamond coring bits must be ordered separately. Quick setup, fast drilling, and low bit wear combine to give low cost per core.

Gasoline units offer minimal set up time, faster drilling and allow the operator to operate independently of power supplies.

CD-1 and CD-2 Core Drills are designed for vertical coring of pavements and slabs with bits up to 8" (203mm) in diameter. Stable platforms with leveling screws, heavy-duty columns and smooth precision feed systems combine to make these models the ideal choice for large projects. Both easily adapt to mount in a van or pickup truck. CD-1 has an 6.5-HP 4-cycle manual start engine, and CD-2 features an electric start 15-HP engine. Both models have 24" (610mm) carriage travel.

CD-3 Lightweight Core Drill features better portability, faster set up and vertical or horizontal wet coring capabilities. The efficient 2-cycle, 2-HP motor turns a maximum 6-1/2" (178mm) bit at up to 675 rpm.

CD-6 Electric Core Drill adapts to a range of drilling jobs in addition to pavement coring. The 10" (254mm) wide base is a vacuum anchor that solidly grips pavement or floors. The column rotates horizintally, 180°, allowing the customer to drill at end or sides of base. Addition of CDA-34 Angle Drilling Attachment allows column to tilt up to 45° from vertical. Motor and carriage are removed/attached without changing drill location for ease in snapping cores, adding extension rods. The super-duty two-speed (450/900rpm) 3.5-HP motor cuts drilling time. Unit includes oilless vacuum pump, filter, hose, and quick connections.

CD-8 Core-Mobile concrete/asphalt mobile coring rig includes a gasoline-powered, electric start core drilling machine and heavygauge 200-gal. (757 liter) fiberglas water tank with battery-driven pump, all mounted on a sturdy 2-wheel trailer. The system is complete and ready for field work taking cores up to 16" (406mm) in diam. The 15-HP, 4-cycle core drill has 24" (610mm) of carriage travel.

Integral water tank and pump provide bit cooling and flushing of chips. The 84" (2.1m) wide by 130" (3.3m) long trailer has inertia-activated hydraulic brakes, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, and 195R15 tires. Rugged welded steel tube frame gives road stability and plenty of deck space for operator, tools, bits, and accessories. No hydraulic connection to towing vehicle is needed. The rig is shipped fully assembled by motor freight. Order drill bits and expander sets separately.
